About the Position
Pond & Company is currently seeking a experienced and motivated Corrosion Technicians to join our expanding Energy team. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of relevant experience and a passion for growth, collaboration, and innovation. In this role, you will conduct indirect surveys, annual surveys, and cathodic protection (CP) troubleshooting for clients across the United States. The successful candidate will be NACE/AMPP CP-1 or CP-2 certified and will have the opportunity to work on diverse projects across multiple markets and regions. This position offers excellent opportunities to expand your expertise and enhance your skill set, particularly in design-related projects. We're seeking a proactive, independent self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform indirect and annual surveys and provide troubleshooting and maintenance for cathodic protection systems.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality services to clients across the U.S.
- Take responsibility for managing field survey equipment and handling minor repairs of CP systems.
- Assist in identifying opportunities for system improvements and innovations.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
Experience & Qualifications
- NACE CP-1 or CP-2 Certification (required).
- 2+ years of relevant experience in corrosion control or cathodic protection.
- Valid Driver’s License with a willingness to travel up to 75% of the year (primarily within the U.S.).
- Demonstrated proficiency in performing indirect surveys and annual surveys.
- Skilled in the handling and operation of field survey equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities for CP systems, including minor repairs.
- Excellent team player with a positive attitude, strong multi-tasking skills, and the ability to work independently.
- Motivated to produce high-quality work and eager to expand knowledge and professional growth.
